Can your shelters withstand EF-5 tornados?

Yes, all of our shelters are designed and engineered to withstand a direct hit from an EF-5 tornado.

Will the shelters cave in if the house collapsed on top of it?

Our shelters are designed to withstand heavy impact from concrete blocks and 2x4 roof trusses. 

Do you pour concrete slabs for outdoor shelters?

Yes. We are a licensed and insured state certified residential general contractor. We can obtain permitting and will form and pour a concrete slab specifically for the outdoor storm shelter. Call us today to get a quote!

Can my indoor storm shelter be installed on my existing concrete foundation? 

Yes, our indoor shelters are installed on an existing concrete garage floor. Installation costs may increase if the concrete is in poor condition or can not support the storm shelter. 

Do you deliver and install your storm shelters? 

Yes we deliver within the state of Florida. Installation price includes installing to your existing concrete floor.

Will I need a permit for the installation?

No. when installing to your existing concrete. Yes. When a new concrete slab is necessary, most municipalities will require permitting. In those instances, we can obtain permits for an additional charge.

Are your storm shelters handicap accessible? 

Most of our shelters are handicap accessible with 36” entry doors and no steps. A phone consultation is recommendations on your specific needs! 

Do you require a down payment when placing an order? 

Yes, we only ask for a $500 down payment for indoor shelters and in stock items. 50% down payment is required for outdoor shelters which includes us pouring a reinforced concrete foundation. Do you require a down payment when placing
